An Amateur Adventurer
I’ve always secretly loved hiking, much to the chagrin of my parents (the secret part, not the hiking part). When I was growing up I always resisted trips to State Parks, National Park, and being forced to endure family time, but I realized as an adult that the times I spent with my family were some of the happiest moments of my life. I love exploring nature and seeing beautiful places.
What more could I want than to see the protected places around the world, but more specifically the incredible protected lands in the United States of America?
How could I have lived in Florida for years without ever having ventured to the Everglades National Park? Or consider myself complete without a visit to the world’s first National Park, Yellowstone?
Now – I’ve taken to exploring, however inexpertly, the National Parks of the United States. Visiting the National Parks has become my own personal obsession. Want to journey with me? Read my posts!
